At the Senbazuru Workshop participants will be stringing peace cranes together. The chains of peace cranes will be attached to a frame to create the Senbazuru.
The Senbazuru will be a symbol of peace from the youth of Cowra and will be laid at the Japanese Cemetery during the wreath-laying ceremony for the Cowra Breakout 80th Anniversary on Monday 5 August 2024.
This is a FREE event suitable for 12 years & up. Morning tea provided. RSVP for your free ticket here Senbazuru Workshop – A Cowra Breakout 80th Anniversary Project Tickets, Sun, Jun 30, 2024 at 10:00 AM | Eventbrite
