School Holiday Workshop – Stories from the Home Front

Thu 18 January at 11:30 am - 12:30 pm

Imagine the stories behind the photos in our touring exhibition ‘Capturing the Home Front’.

Explore our new touring exhibition Capturing the Home Front: Life at home in a world at war, and imagine the stories behind the photographs.

In this facilitated workshop, children will choose a photograph from the exhibition to use as a prompt for a piece of creative writing, putting themselves in the shoes of soldiers, families at home and Japanese internees during World War II.

All resources will be provided.

Booking Instructions

This workshop is suitable for children aged 10 and older.

Please book one ticket per attending child. All children must be signed in/out of this workshop by an adult guardian. Please note the name and contact details of the adult guardian in your child’s order form.
