School Holiday Workshop – Planting Poems

Thu 28 September at 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Spring has sprung at the Cultural Precinct so join us as we craft spring-themed poems on special seed paper ready for planting at home!

Drawing on inspiration from our objects across the Museum, this 75-minute facilitated creative writing workshop will guide young people in creating a series of nature-themed poems.

Participants will then have the chance to use a typewriter to type up their poem onto biodegradable seed paper to then plant in their home garden.

This activity is designed for children aged 10+. Participants in this workshop do not need to be accompanied by an adult and will be supervised by Orange Regional Museum staff. Parents/carers must arrive promptly at 12:15pm to collect children.

Resources and materials are provided.

This is a FREE event, and bookings are essential.  School Holiday Workshop – Planting Poems Tickets, Thu 28/09/2023 at 11:00 am | Eventbrite
