Bad Medicine – The Bon Jovi Tribute Band
As one of the biggest selling rock bands in history Bon Jovi requires no introduction. They set the rock world on fire with the release of the album “Slippery When Wet” in 1986, which included their most famous and highest selling song “Living on a Prayer”. Unlike many other glam rock bands of the 80’s, Bon Jovi evolved into the coming decades releasing more fabulous music and continuing to perform sell out concerts. For those who remember the 80’s as their party era, Bon Jovi is synonymous with a great night out , and they continue to resonate with the younger generation.
Bad Medicine is a local cover band dedicated to bringing to the stage the hits of this great band, and will be performing a selection of Bon Jovi’s many hits at Ruby Tuesday on 23rd May, 30th
May, 6th June & 13th June.
Bad Medicine is Jason Hill (Lead Vocals) – Jason is quite simply Jon Bon Jovi’s voice double. He has an extraordinary voice that covers all genres, but is at his absolute best on Bon Jovi’s work. Jason has been the front man for local cover bands since the late 80s, working everywhere from central west to the central coast. He featured on the vocal contest show ‘All Together Now’, gaining the attention of Ronan Keating. He is a true rock talent with a vocal range not to be missed.
Jason is backed by:
Danielle Pearce (Keys/Vocals) – Danielle has also been playing in local cover bands since late 80s , and has worked on and off with Jason over these decades. A serious lover of music from the 80s, in particular Bon Jovi and anything featuring the synthesiser.
And the local boys:
Chris Hanson (Bass/Vocals) – Chris is a highly regarded local musician who has been a part of the local music industry for some 35 years. Chris, Jason & Danielle currently make up the local trio The Darcy Revival, but Chris also has an impressive list of cover bands he has played in over the years. For this show, he will pick up his bass guitar and make sure the crowd is out of their seats.
Hughie Brown (Lead Guitar) – Richie Sambora will be more than adequately covered by the talented Hughie Brown on lead guitar. Hughie is a long-time veteran of the Ruby Tuesday and also has a respectable resume of prior bands. He currently plays with Felix Albert and the Gentlemanly 2.
Scott Davis (Drums) – and finishing off the 5-piece line-up is local rock drummer, Scott Davis, who has a similarly long history in local bands, and is ready to bring the show alive with the rock beat Bon Jovi is renowned for.
