Come and join us Thursday 30 June to read Peggy’s fantastic play – “Must’ve been a Ghost, Then.”

Must’ve Been A Ghost, Then, is a play written by emerging playwright, Peggy Aitken. Set during the tumultuous #MeToo movement, actor Alex is caught in the middle of it when his former co-star rises up against his current producer Burt Eviston. As both parties turn to him for support, Alex must decide who he owes more, the current and future victims of the patriarchy? Or himself? The answer is not as simple as it first seems and Must Have Been A Ghost, Then plays with topics of exploitation and appropriation while The Ghost of trauma past sits watching, hoping for the future that the movement promises
