People Who Shaped Cook Park

Sat 25 November at 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Drop into the Endeavour Room at the Bastick Cottage in Cook Park and explore the display ‘People who shaped Cook Park’.

Learn about the park’s inaugural head gardener Andrew Patterson, father and son James and Jim Bastick, and Dalton Fountain donor James Dalton, among others.

While you’re there, visit the Park Guildry, also in the Bastick Cottage, and browse the range of homemade jams and baked goods, knitting, woodwork and pottery made by local craftspeople. The Cottage is open from 10am to 4pm daily.

Images will also be displayed on a screen in the Endeavour Room of the Bastick Cottage as part of the celebrations. People wishing to share their photos and memories of Cook Park should email their material to heritage@orange.nsw.gov.au
