Orange Library Up Late – Rachael Mogan McIntosh – Pardon My French

Fri 14 April at 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Welcome to Library Up Late and the perfectly imperfect reality of an Aussie family’s year in France!

Join us for Library Up Late, where we invite you behind the scenes to meet author Rachael Mogan McIntosh, and enjoy music and refreshments in Orange City Library after hours.

Discover a heart-warming and hilarious story of one young family’s year in Southern France, Pardon My French, by journalist Rachael Mogan McIntosh, is filled with eccentric local characters, quirky small-town antics and tales of language woes that will have you crying with laughter.

Pardon My French is a candid and comical love letter to the imperfect reality of family life and France, with three valuable lessons for overcoming adversity woven through the pages: make home a beautiful nest, lean into the tough lessons, and, most importantly, look for the comedy in everything.

‘Uproarious and deliciously wise … A pure delight.’ Tori Haschka, A Recipe for Family.

Rachael Mogan McIntosh is a mum of three, crisis counsellor and community trainer from the south coast of NSW. Her writing has appeared in publications across Australia, France and the USA. Rachael loves books, baths, coffee, podcasts, TV and Terry’s Chocolate Orange; consuming them simultaneously whenever possible. Pardon My French is her first book.

This event is supported by Collins Booksellers, Orange.

Tickets $15pp online via Eventbrite.
