Official Opening – Oberon to Hazelgrove

Oberon Tarana Heritage Railway Inc. will officially open the Oberon to Hazelgrove Section (Stage 1) at 11.00 am on Saturday 21st October 2023.
The event will be a re-enactment of the original event in 1923.
Following the opening ceremony, a train carrying dignitaries and special guests will depart Oberon Station for Hazelgrove for a celebration lunch in a Marquee near the Hazelgrove terminus. A String Quartet will entertain guests during lunch.
All members and supporters are invited to participate in the opening ceremony.
Bring your classic vehicle and dress in period costume and enjoy the fun.
