Nature Journaling Workshop
Sun 10 March at 10:00 am - 1:00 pmFree
A relaxed Sunday session of nature journaling led by local writer, nature lover and journaler, Tracie McMahon. Don’t consider yourself an artist? You do not need to be able to ‘DO Art’ to nature journal. All you need is curiosity.
Tracie will guide this introductory session as you begin by exploring the grounds of the Lithgow Transformation Hub and nearby Hoskins Memorial Uniting Church Gardens (weather permitting) to take notes and collect ideas. You might like to make a map of your journey in colours and features, or just explore the glorious colours of a cool climate garden. You might like to learn more about the journey of a leaf from green to brown, or simply collect and wonder at the beauty of autumn. It’s up to you and your curiosity.
The What’s On calendar covers arts and heritage events happening across the NSW Central West in the local government areas of Bathurst Region, Blayney, Cabonne, Cowra, Forbes, Lachlan, Lithgow, Mid-Western Region, Oberon, Orange, Parkes and Weddin.
