Mini Series Art Prize 2023
Wed 25 October - Sun 5 November
Submit 3 artworks for consideration – finalists will be exhibited at the gallery in October – the winner will be announced on Opening Night and will receive a rent-free solo exhibition with us in 2024!
Artists are invited to submit 3 artworks as a small body of work to be judged by a panel of experts. The winner of our Mini Series Art Prize will receive a rent-free solo exhibition with us here at The Corner Store Gallery in 2024. We also award two Highly Commended awards and artists become part of our stable. This competition is open to emerging and professional artists from Australia who have not had a solo exhibition with us before. The exhibition will include the most exciting and original artworks submitted for selection from artists and designers from all over Australia.
We want you to summarise your art practice in 3 artworks – they can be any medium. Mediums can also vary within the series, however, we encourage you to put forward a COHESIVE series, for example: your series might include 1 painting, 1 mixed media work and 1 ceramic piece all exploring the same theme.
If your application is accepted to be exhibited, your mini-series of 3 artworks will then be judged by our panel of experts and the winner will be announced on Opening Night.
