Margaret Roberts Polygon Landscapes

Thu 30 June - Sun 31 July

Margaret Roberts’ Polygon Landscapes invites the identification of local Kandos buildings from sculptural forms exhibited in the windows. These ‘facsimiles of evidence’ can be matched against photographic charts provided of the original structures. The core idea is that the sculptural forms are ‘damaged remainders’ of some implied form of disaster that has affected the town and its dwellings. An earlier iteration was created for the inaugural Cementa13 Contemporary Arts Festival.
