Luke Thurgate, Dobell Finalist, Live Drawing Demonstration at BRAG

Dobell Drawing Prize #23 finalist Luke Thurgate will be recreating his finalist work I believe in you, 2023, at Bathurst Regional Art Gallery on the opening weekend of the touring prize in Bathurst.

Visitors are invited to pull up a stool and watch Thurgate’s drawing come to life. By observation, learn incredible skills from this modern-day master!

Thurgate will be drawing on the opening night, Saturday 2 September 10am-2pm and Sunday 3 September 10am-2pm.

Plus, on Sunday 3 September, observe Thurgate and try your hand at drawing in our regular Sunday Sketch Session, 10:30am-12:30pm! Materials supplied, all abilities and ages, all welcome.
