Lithgow City Orchestra
Sat 24 September at 2:00 pm
One event on Sat 24 September 2022, at 2:00 pm
The talented Lithgow City Orchestra is looking forward to presenting three Spring concerts in September. In preparation LCO has been rehearsing weekly for two hours adding new repertoire for concerts on consecutive Saturdays.
The first two will be for the Rydal Daffodil Festival at one of the gardens open for inspection, Bark Ridge, on the Rydal Hampton Road. The performances will be in an old large barn from 1-3 pm on Saturdays 10th and 17th September. Enjoy wandering around the gardens as well as enjoying LCO’s music.
The third concert on Saturday 24th September at 2pm will be in Lithgow’s Notre Dame concert hall, near Lithgow Hospital. As well as presenting their Spring program, LCO will be joined by guest artists The Lounge Room Piano Trio for their first public performance. The trio will play original music from the pen of Andrew Wilson (piano). He will be joined by Nicky Wilson (cello) and Peter Avery (violin).
LCO will present music by Grieg, Bizet, Handel, Purcell, Michel Legrand, Jerry Amaldev, Joseph Parry and more.
Proof of double vaccination is a requirement of entry to Notre Dame.
Come to one of LCO’s concerts and enjoy some beautiful music.
