Kellie O’Dempsey: Bloom – Free Light and Sound Performance, Robertson Park
Sat 25 March at 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Join us for Bloom, a spectacular light and sound performance by Kellie O’Dempsey (light) and Mick Dick (sound) on Saturday 2 March 2023 in Robertson Park. Bloom will transform the park after dark during two immersive performances at 8 – 8:45pm and 9:15 – 10pm.
Bloom is a large-scale live work of light, colour and sound that contemplates the transformational act of unfolding flora. Shape shifting swathes of illuminated colour will metamorphosise and flow gently across the tree-scape of Robertson Park with drawn lines, bold shapes and electric hues unfolding to subterranean sonic tones as if emerging from deep underground.
Bring a picnic rug or chair and enjoy an evening of art in the park.
Bloom is a free Future City Public Art performance funded by the NSW Government and Orange City Council.
The What’s On calendar covers arts and heritage events happening across the NSW Central West in the local government areas of Bathurst Region, Blayney, Cabonne, Cowra, Forbes, Lachlan, Lithgow, Mid-Western Region, Oberon, Orange, Parkes and Weddin.
