Introduction to Resin Art
Sat 30 July at 12:15 pm - 2:30 pm
It’s glossy and gorgeous! Join me in learning how to create your own beautiful resin artwork!
Resin is a two part compound that hardens to a clear glossy finish. You can add paints, pigments, dyes, pastes and inks to the resin to create stunning original art.
This workshop is perfect for beginners or those who have experience in other types of fluid art like Paint Painting or Alcohol Inks.
What you’ll get
In this to 2-hour workshop I will demonstrate how to mix mica powders into the resin to create unique effects and how to manipulate the effects (and pop any pesky air bubbles) with a heat gun. You’ll create your own beautiful artwork on a wooden tray.
All supplies provided
The workshop includes all materials including the tray. You will need to take your resin art home with you. We recommend bringing a large tray and towel to place it onto in your car.
This workshop is strictly limited to 18 participants to ensure individual attention.
You must be 14 years or older to participate in this workshop. I do not recommend this workshop to pregnant women as chemicals in the form of resins are used.
