INDIGENOUS CULTURAL BURN – COWRA

Fri 29 July

Central Tablelands Local Land Services, Cowra Local Aboriginal Land Council, Rural Fire Service and Cowra Council are hosting an Indigenous Cultural Burn as a management tool within the local Cowra landscape.

The indigenous cultural burn will run by Nioka Coe from Cowra Local Aboriginal Land council with the support of the RFS.

The cultural burn will commence with a traditional Welcome to Country followed by a Smoking Ceremony.

WHAT TO BRING:

  • camp chair/picnic rug
  • water
  • hat, jacket, sturdy shoes and general attire for being outdoors
