Gulgong Henry Lawson Festival

Step back in time to the gold rush days in Gulgong for the annual Henry Lawson Festival!
Held on the June long weekend, this highly anticipated event draws people from all over for a weekend rich in history + fun.
Throughout the weekend, enjoy old time games such as jacks, hopscotch + pavement art, as well as bush dancing, poetry, short story readings + the literary rewards where poets and storytellers come from all over Australia with the hope of winning the coveted award.
To add even more fun, enjoy a street parade, wheelbarrow races, over 35 stalls to peruse and horse racing on the Sunday. This is an action + history packed weekend you do not want to miss!
