FRANK SULTANA

Sat 13 July

$45

The Cordial Factory are thrilled to announce the return of Frank Sultana to our stage next Saturday 13 July!

Frank last graced our stage way back in 2022 with local talent Dean Haitani and it was a rollicking good night!

Dripping with pre-WW2 mojo, dark, dirty guitar tones and a voice that has the grit and soul of the characters and places he writes and sings about, Frank Sultana is a modern-day blues man.

Since then, in January 2023, Frank competed in and won the solo/duo section of the International Blues Challenge in Memphis Tennessee – among a field of 150 artists from around the world and only the third Australian to do so in the events 38-year history!

While in Memphis, he also recorded his new album at the iconic Sun Studios where so many greats before him have recorded.

Frank is a storyteller in the traditional sense, inspired by greats like Ray Charles and Bob Dylan, as well as Mississippi blues pioneers like Skip James and Son House. He has released five albums and three eps and has become a permanent fixture on Australia’s live scene, earning a big reputation as a powerhouse singer and gifted songwriter.

In the support slot for Frank Sultana, we also welcome Nieko to TCF stage who is an accomplished singer-songwriter with his heart firmly on his sleeve.

Blending the good time vibes of roots music with a love for folk/rock, Nieko makes seaside sifters, road music rinsed in indie ethos.

Having toured both nationally and internationally with his band Costa Rae, Nieko has played premier venues and festivals such as Peats Ridge Festival and supported the likes of The Beautiful Girls, Blue King Brown, Ash Grunwald and Jeff Lang.

On the solo front, Nieko has provided the soundtrack at some of Sydney’s & Australian east coast premier venues such as the iconic Manly Wharf Hotel, The Newport and Byron Bay Beach Hotel.

Don’t miss both Frank Sultana and Nieko next Saturday 13 July. Tickets are $45 + BF (via link below) / Catering by the amazing Unwind / Gate & Bar Opens 6pm / Music from 7.30pm.

Tickets can be purchased on the night however it helps us greatly if you can pre-book your tickets at the link below.
