Frame of Mind – Weaving
Fri 31 March at 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Join us for the next Frame of Mind workshop, Weaving, and allow yourself to become lost in the art of weaving.
Lead by Sharon from The Art and Craft room, participants will learn how to:
- prepare the loom for weaving
- learn some weaving jargon – warp and weft
- weave using a number of colours
- remove woven piece from loom and hang
Experience the therapeutic nature of weaving and create a small hanging piece while socialising and enjoying a night out with friends.
While all materials are provided for the workshop, if you wish to continue the art of weaving at home, the loom can be purchased on the night. Looms are 39cm x 26 cm. Email Sharon at thecraftroomforbes@gmail.com for more details.
