Cultured – by Orange Chamber Music Festival Inc.

On its third year running the Orange Chamber Music Festival will provide the community with a range of free performances within the Orange Cultural Precinct to celebrate the city’s modern and vibrant cultural life.
Activities will commence at the Farmer Markets (Northcourt). Performances by the NSW Police Brass Ensemble and Dixieland band will kick off the whole day of free fine performances.
Throughout the morning and early afternoon, performances will take place inside the Library, Museum and Gallery, respectively.
A selection of local musicians, guests soloists and the Orange Regional Conservatorium Chamber Academy will perform at various times, finishing with a musical-theatrical interactive performance of Carnival of the Animals by Camille Saint-Saens- a humorous musical suite, enhanced with narration and impersonations by local theatre company The Pinnacle Players.

11:00am Library – Cushion Concert

12:45pm Orange Regional Museum – Eliza Shephard and Alicia Crossley, along with exhibition Enemy Aliens – The Dunera Brothers.
1:30pm Orange Regional Gallery – Rachael Kwa (violin) and Elman Mecid (marimba) Tango Stories.
3:00pm Southcourt stairs – Carnival of the Animals – Open Air Performance.
