keep you and your loved ones warm this winter.
BATHURST REGIONAL ART GALLERY, BATHURST.
Hill End based artist Luke Sciberras has donated 64 prints to the permanent collection of Bathurst Regional Art Gallery, the largest single donation of work ever made to the collection. The artist has also confirmed his intention to donate one print from each series he makes in the future to mark his life’s journey in prints. A selection of the gifted prints and related drawings will be on presented in conjunction with Luke Sciberras: Side of the Sky survey.
WAYOUT ARTSPACE KANDOS
Assemblages and sculptures, prints, photos, videos and live performances tackle our sticky relationship with this useful but monstrous family of materials. The opening event promises to be serious but lots of fun with blessings performed by the witty and unapologetic Sisters of Perpetual PlastIx, a Ukulele performance of “Plastic in the House” with community participation from the Kandos Ukulele Group, Washing Up! (you can clean up after yourselves rather than chuck your trash in a bin and walk away), Be blessed! and Bell Ringing.
Storytime at Orange City Library is lots of fun. We read stories, sing songs, play games and make craft. They are held during the school term and cater for preschool children and their carers. Storytime is free and each session lasts approximately one hour. Tuesday’s programme (book and craft) is repeated on Wednesday and Thursday.
NAIDOC Week celebrates and recognises the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and an opportunity for all Australians to learn about First Nations cultures and histories and participate in celebrations of the oldest, continuous living cultures on earth

On Thursday 30th June, Jess Jennings will be facilitating a panel discussion with Paul and John to launch their fantastic new books. The panel will be happy to answer any questions from the milling crowd. After the event, stick around for dinner and a drink.
Develop your creative, arty self by coming along for one, two or all eight sessions. These sessions are for those who have some experience in being creative and wish to explore and develop their art in a safe and supportive environment. An experienced tutor will be on hand to guide you in your art expression.

The Comedy of Errors is a hilarious romp of swapped identities, misguided love, mistaken imprisonment and chaotic mishaps, leading to an unbelievably crazy day for bumbling twins.
