Cracks in the mirror
Sat 22 April - Sun 7 May

22nd April – 7th May 2023
It’s the morning of the wedding and bride to be Ally, is excited about the impending nuptials, but there is something niggling at her. Is it cold feet? Is it the fact that she feels too ‘comfortable’ with Noah, more like a mate? But Ally can’t possibly call off the wedding now. Her mother has arranged (dictated) everything; dresses, photographer, videographer, decorations and a five-tier wedding cake that’s sure to impress. Her bridesmaids have all arrived and in a few short hours the guests will be here.
Maybe a few bottles of champagne and some beef jerky will warm her cold feet!
Cracks in the mirror is a hilarious, yet, at times brutally honest depiction of how we outwardly project an illusion of our perfect lives, while deep inside we battle insecurities and experiences that delimitate who we are and how we approach life. But never underestimate the power of truth, strength born from adversity, and the liberation when you finally start to see your reflection clear.
An original musical staring Maddison Collits, Ruth Barnes, Jade McGovern, Amelia Regnier & Kimberly Ryan.
Book and Lyrics: Lyn Townsend
