Writers of all genres, paid or unpaid, are welcome to join us for a chat to swap stories, gripes, tips, tricks about our writing. Bring along a short piece for others to give you feedback about … we’re not harsh, so consider us part of your marketing research for your work, rather than a free critiquing/editing service.
If you need some nudging in your writing, we also act as accountability buddies for those who opt into that offer. You can join our closed Facebook group, too. (We have about 130 members who we don’t always see at our meetings, and that’s totally ok.)
- It’s informal – usually about 6-8 folks turn up.
- We meet at Bathurst Library, often at the tables in the young-adult section.
- You can BYO food/drinks.
