Caribé – Orange
Fri 18 November at 6:30 pm
Caribé will return to Orange Regional Conservatorium on Number 18th 2022, with their trademark high energy Cuban-based music and dance. There will be new material from a developing production Una Neuva Vida (A New Life) which celebrates the experiences of Caribé’s Latin American artists, their stories as seen through their eyes and those of family members. Una Nueva Vida is a spectacular collision of beautiful memories, creativity and multiculturalism set against a repertoire of original Latin Jazz.
Celebrating the release of their first album, Caribé’s music is alive with spontaneous, improvisatory interplay showcasing Adrian Medina’s dancing, enecdotes and chanting. They invite you to be a part of this night by dancing, singing and interacting with the group. Be prepared to shake those hips to rumba, son, cha cha cha and more.
