Bling your Books – School Holidays – Orange City Library

Wed 17 January at 11:30 am - 12:30 pm

School books – covered!

Add some personality to your school books while learning the ancient art of Librarian Book Covering

Discover the secrets librarians have kept hidden for centuries, like how to measure the perfect amount of clear contact, how to avoid that contact becoming wrinkled and bubbly, and how to create a crisp corner on the edge of your book.

Make use of our craft materials (old book pages, stickers, stamps, yarn, sequins, drawing paper, texas etc) to personalise your books so that they stand out from the crowd. Then, cover them in library-grade clear contact for the perfect finish.

****Important – bring 2 exercise books with you****

T his workshop will run three times throughout the day – please only book for one session.

Bookings are essential and spaces are limited.
