Big Band Blast Gala Concert

As part of the 3 day Big Band Blast conference weekend, the Big Band Blast Gala Concert features the amazing talents of the Sydney Conservatorium Jazz Orchestra directed by David Theak, with special performances by the Big Band Blast clinicians – John Morrison (drums), Jacki Cooper (vocals), Andrew Robertson (sax) and Eric Dunan (trumpet).

Now in it’s 10th year, Big Band Blast provides educational and performance opportunities to high school big bands across the country. For the 2nd time, Big Band Blast is being held in Bathurst, proudly presented by the Mitchell Conservatorium of Music.

Join in to hear the Sydney Con Jazz Orchestra play stunning arrangements of modern jazz pieces.
