Bathurst Winter Festival: Illuminations

Sat 1 July - Sun 16 July

FREE

After darkness falls, the CBD comes alive as light projections slash colour across some of Bathurst’s most historic buildings from sundown to 10pm every night of the festival.

The 2023 illuminations bring to life the this year’s theme ‘Connections‘. Connections to people and place. Connections to each other and our region.

The concept of universal connection:

Nothing in the world stands by itself. Every object is a link in an endless chain and is thus connected with all the other links. And this chain of the universe has never been broken; it unites all objects and processes in a single whole and thus has a universal character. We cannot move so much as our little finger without “disturbing” the whole universe. The life of the universe, its history lies in an infinite web of connections.

Wander the Illumination Light Walk taking you through the heart of Bathurst and watch as vibrant colours light up the night.
