Bathurst & District Artisans Incorporated Open Day

Sun 12 March

Bathurst & District Artisans Incorporated are going to call Perthville home. This group of artisans will be based at the Perthville Community Hall. “Our aim is to provide a range of craft and art activities for members of the Bathurst region” reported President, Carol Dobson. “We want to provide a supportive environment, where we learn from each other.”

To spread the word on what will be on offer, an open day will be held on 12 March at the Perthville Hall. Entry for the day will be $15, which will allow participants to watch demonstrations and participate in a range of art and craft activities. Children are welcome if accompanied by an adult.

The group will be starting formal activities on 9 March with a fortnightly all day oil painting class with Grahame Martin. On alternative weeks, Grahame will be running a half day beginner’s class. Other activities on offer will include painting basics, textiles, polymer clay and paper based pursuits.
