Author Talk: Christine Sykes

Mon 23 October at 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm

FREE
Join Christine Sykes as she discusses her three books.

The award winning debut novel The Changing Room, was based on experiences at the non-profit Dress for Success. Being raised in Cabramatta provided the basis for her memoir, Gough and Me, in which Christine overlays the social and political events of the tumultuous 1960s and 70s and the impact that Gough Whitlam has – on her own life and generations of Australians. Her latest book, The Tap Cats of the Sunshine Coast, was inspired by her aunt’s experience taking up tap dancing in retirement.

Light refreshments will be served.

Copies of Christine’s books will be available to purchase at the event.
