Art Mentoring Students Work On Exhibition at Canowindra Art Gallery Inc

Project run by Sue Hodge. The exhibition will be opened tonight by Councillor Kathryn O’ Ryan and Deputy Mayor Jamie Jones

The Art Mentoring Course in Canowindra began five years ago, started by local artist Sue Hodge.

The local Art Gallery Committee, with the financial backing of an organisation called The Sally Foundation, saw the need for after school tutoring in art. Sue was very happy to teach an art course and this year has seen yet another successful course completed with local students.

The culmination of the students work will occur on the 22nd July 2022 with 52 pieces of the students art on display in the local Canowindra Art Gallery in Gaskill Street.

If you can’t make it on opening night, the works will be hanging all weekend from 22nd-24th July.
