Alan Sisley Memorial Oration 2022: Guest Speaker- Gary Grealy – [POSTPONED]

The Friends of Orange Regional Gallery invite you to the Alan Sisley Memorial Oration 2022
Our guest speaker Gary Grealy will speak on Photography! The problem child of the art world?
Gary Grealy was the winner of the 2017 National Photographic Portrait Prize and has established himself over many years as one of Sydney’s leading portrait photographers with work commissioned by major national and international clients. His work also features in major collections, such as the National Portrait Gallery and the National Gallery of Australia in Canberra.
Recently he completed a community portrait project with Orange Regional Gallery and Orange Local Aboriginal Land Council, which is currently on exhibition. Many will be familiar with his striking portrait of Mary Turner OAM in the Gallery’s collection.
Proceeds from the Oration assist in the acquisition of works for the Gallery’s collection
