A New Perspective: NIGEL WHITE & JACK WHITE
Sat 26 November 2022, - Mon 6 February 2023,

Curated by Kay Norton-Knight, Rosby Gallery present a emotive collection of works by Nigel and Jack White that connects and balances the journey
of two lifetimes – representing two remarkable stories of reconnection, personally and artistically.
Father and son, Nigel then Jack, each hold a connection to the waters they depict through their own stylistic works. Waters that inform growth, new perspectives and flow together – converging as one like a river system – departing then returning.
For Nigel, this exhibition is a series of postcards from the experience of a debilitating stroke and the legacy that lays on his work. Some are fleeting
moments of colour, glimpsed from a hospital bed and others – the result of his capacity to work within new-found physical limitations.
Jack, who diverged from art to architecture, has refound his grounding and connection to his father in producing a series of stylistic works
with clear references to his experiences working in the built environment.
An exhibition not to be missed, it is one of truly new perspectives.
