Pelican Paint and Sip

Paint and Sip, Saturday 15th April 1-4.30pm*.48 Market st Mudgee, Gooree TOWN cellar and Pantry
What to expect: This is an easy workshop even for the most ‘un-arty’. You will learn how to paint this colourful pelican in easy steps using acrylic paint.
Cost per person is $85. Cost for 2 people is $160 ($80 each)
Inclusions: Canvas, paint, tracing. One glass of Gooree wine.
To use on the day: Easels, aprons, palettes, brushes, water cups, extra paint, rags, pencil.
Optional extras: Cheese platters can be purchased on the day or pre-ordered directly to Gooree cellar and pantry

Everything you need is provided to create this image of this Australian native bird. If you need assistance, our Art teacher will help you! Each Art by You event is taught by a professional Artist who is practiced at helping beginners to truly learn easy art and craft techniques to create something beautiful, even if you haven’t been creative since childhood. All of our Paint and Sip classes are made achievable by painting easy follow along steps. Some of our classes are longer as they just have more colours, more steps, or more details but still the same level of “easiness”. All are still achievable for beginners.
Our aim at Art by You is to make painting attainable for everyone and to send you home with a finished artwork. We want you to have fun and pick up a few painting tips along the way, so we throw in new techniques every class and re-apply regularly used techniques so that you can learn as you paint. Most of all we want everyone to enjoy their creative time! For everyone to enjoy the flow of the class, It’s as easy as Listen, Watch, Paint, Enjoy.

We like to keep things fresh so we often don’t repeat our classes for 12 months, whether it be Create and Sip or Paint and Sip. We love creating at Art by You and we want to share the wonderful joys of creativity with you too, so make time for it, you’ll want to come back for more!
If you just cant swing it to attend our scheduled dates, book us in for a PRIVATE EVENT to create or Paint whatever you would like, we recommend at least 8 people for a private group but any amount is welcome! We can host you at the studio above Alby and Esthers cafe, at another spectacular location in Mudgee (upon request), at your home, or at an Air BNB.
Covid Safe plan in place. Please do not attend this event if you are unwell. A create at home kit will be provided at a later date as we do not want you to miss out on the creative fun! Tickets to this event are not refundable, transfers to another event are available for an extra $30 per ticket. If you are attending this event and 1 member of your party is unwell, we hope that the rest of you will still attend! We have lots of solo creatives coming along to class, who knows, you might just meet a new friend.
