90th Anniversary Carillon Recital

Sun 23 April at 11:00 am - 12:30 pm

April 2023 marks 90 years since the final brick was placed to complete the Bathurst War Memorial Carillon tower in April 1933. Building the Bathurst War Memorial Carillon was a 6 year journey, begun in 1927, and completed due to the perseverance of the Bathurst regional community. Celebrations to mark this unique Bathurst icon commence on 20 April with a muster at the Bathurst District Historical Society, a series of recitals throughout Autumn Colours, and finishing with Memorial Week events in November.

The first of these recitals will be held on Sunday 23rd April from 11.00am.
