40 Year Old Popstar

Fri 4 August at 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Alli Butler woke up the other day and discovered she was 40. That was unexpected. Last time she looked she was 20!

Marriage. Kids. So many wasted days. No more careerus interuptus! To return to her destiny and true identity as a mega celebrity, Alli flees the city, returns to the small country town where she was born and performs to the sheep, cows and canola. It was a good decision. The shows were a raging success. And when she followed that up and actually played gigs to real people it was even better.

Since jet-setting on Jetstar back to the big-smoke her life has been one rollercoaster of gigs, recordings and photoshoots. Occasionally she feeds her child.

Her show, which combines original music and stand-up comedy, was recently nominated at the 2022 Sydney Fringe Festival for Best in Musical Theatre and Cabaret.

So come and see Alli Butler, a stand-up comedian, singer-songwriter, ex-nurse and mum as she rebirths as the 40-year-old-popstar she was always destined to be!
