2021 Banjo Paterson Writing Awards
Mon 21 June
The Banjo Paterson Writing Awards were established in Orange in 1991 and each year we host the Banjo Paterson Writing Awards to honor this great Australian writer. He is most famous for penning the words to Waltzing Matilda and The Man From Snowy River. The awards are launched each year on the anniversary of Banjo’s birth (17 February) and close in April.
The Awards attract interest from all over Australia and are of a consistently high standard, and we have handsome prizes on offer for the winners of each category.
