1920s Movie Night

Thu 19 October at 6:00 pm - 9:30 pm

$20

Halloween will come early on October 19th, when Keystone 1889 presents an evening of 1920s silent film scares! The evening will feature two classics of 1920s cinema, accompanied by live piano music provided by Michelle Griffin.

The evening will open with ‘The Haunted House’ a Halloween short by slapstick comedy legend Buster Keaton, followed by the main feature- the world’s first horror movie, The Cabinet of Dr Caligari. Accompanying these films will be period accurate scores performed by accomplished local pianist, Michelle Griffin. Michelle is the Head of Keyboard at Mitchell Conservatorium, and has become a local fixture as a soloist, accompanist, and teacher in the Bathurst region.

This performance is sponsored by Ben Gelin OAM and Mitchell Conservatorium.
