TIMBA: The Show – Bathurst
Tue October 20 at 6:00 pm
Continuing on from our sold out events in Perth, Central Coast NSW, Mullumbimby NSW and Canberra, This Is My Brave Australia Inc. is proud to present TIMBA:The Show, Bathurst.
TIMBA is dedicated to promoting a positive national conversation around mental illness and recovery to break stigma and discrimination of mental health consumers and carers.
Our live storytelling events are cast from local members of the community sharing their stories of living experience of mental health issues and recovery through storytelling, poetry, song, comedy, dance and theatre.
Our team consists of local producer Fiona Peel, local volunteers and a cast of ten from the local Bathurst region who are passionate about showing others that you can live a fulfilling and productive life and manage your mental health issues and through their stories, share ways this is possible.
The first of our rehearsals begin on August 2nd and continue monthly until our event is held at City Hall BMEC on Tuesday 20th October from 6pm during Mental Health Month.
Tickets will be available for sale from September at www.thisismybraveaustralia.com
