Welcome to our BIG list of arts and cultural events happening in the NSW Central West gathered from artists, event producers, great local venues and groups across the region.

This is a busy artistic region. There’s usually more than 2000 arts and heritage events happeing in the region each year. Of course, 2020 looks a little different but the events are slowly returning where possible.

NEW: HAPPENING ONLINE. We’ve added a new category for workshops, exhibitions, virutal tours and activities that are now happening ONLINE. Click here for the listings

The Persian Queen

Thu October 8 - Sun October 11

Local Stages Presents: The Persian Queen

A new musical, an old story.

Based on the biblical story of Esther, The Persian Queen is a new musical theatre production written by local artists Phil and Cath Snitch.

His young queen is now faced with a fearful choice … should she stay quiet or should she risk death by standing up for her people?

Featuring Monique Grima as Esther, Michael Lindsay as Xerxes, Kurt Booth as Haman and Troy Oxley as Mordecai.

Thursday 8th October – 7pm

Friday 9th October – 7pm
