The Collection in Focus 2020: New Acquisitions – Postponed (Covid-19)

This exhibition of new acquisitions to the Cowra Regional Art Gallery collection showcases works of art received during the past 2½ years through the generosity of private donors; important acquisitions through the Calleen Art Award; purchases in association with the Friends of the Gallery; and donations by collectors received through the Commonwealth Government’s Cultural Gifts Program.

The exhibition includes paintings by Rowen Matthews, Christine Wrest-Smith, Sinead Davies, Ivan Goodacre, Steven Copland, Tam Cao, together with paintings by Dagmar Cyrulla and etchings by Max Miller, John Olsen, Lloyd Rees and Clifton Pugh (selected from the generous donation of prints by Max and Janie Miller), received through the Commonwealth Government’s Cultural Gifts Program.
