Welcome to our BIG list of arts and cultural events happening in the NSW Central West gathered from artists, event producers, great local venues and groups across the region.
This is a busy artistic region. There’s usually more than 2000 arts and heritage events happeing in the region each year. Of course, 2020 looks a little different but the events are slowly returning where possible.
NEW: HAPPENING ONLINE. We’ve added a new category for workshops, exhibitions, virutal tours and activities that are now happening ONLINE. Click here for the listings

Smith & Jones at Bathurst Rail Museum – BOOKED OUT
Sat September 12 at 7:00 pm
Join Bathurst’s own Smith & Jones at their first gig back! This will be an exclusive performance at Bathurst Rail Museum.
Smith & Jones: Made up of keyboard player and vocalist Abby Smith, with guitarist and vocalist Sophie Jones, Smith & Jones have never been ones to follow the pack. Though classified as alt-country, their goal has never been to remain within the confines of any genre, preferring to let their sound and their songs take them where they will. Smith & Jones are thrilled to be the first band to return to the “band hall” at the Rail Museum since its opening in February.
Performance starts at 8pm. Access to Museum from 7pm to take a look at Bathurst newest cultural venue. Museum viewing is included in cost of the ticket. Group bookings will be seated together at this intimate performance. Tickets are limited
