Celebrating International Women’s Day 2020!
Women from the Lithgow region will gather and join with Richmond’s Woman Song choir led by Suze Pratten. Suze is a choir leader and vibrant music workshop facilitator – her love of music and life is infectious. Suze has been teaching music and singing across all age groups for many years, and is particularly passionate about empowering women to find more of their voice through the joy of singing with others. Suze is a vibrant and committed leader with a real ability to help people connect with their innate musicality, enabling many to step more fully into their musical and personal potential. At ‘Woman Song’ they come together in circle to laugh, sing, and enjoy the wonderful feeling of singing in harmony with others.
To celebrate IWD this year Lithgow city council will bring the joy of ‘Woman Song’ to the women of the Lithgow region. We will sing spine tingling harmonies, freedom songs, rounds and all manner of feel good lyrics.
No experience is necessary just a desire to sing, and a willingness to participate.
WHERE: Civic Ballroom, Tony Luchetti Sportsground on Barton Street, Lithgow.
WHEN: 9:30am – 4:00pm on Saturday 7 March.
Lunch will be catered, please bring a plate to share for morning or afternoon tea.
