Welcome to our BIG list of arts and cultural events happening in the NSW Central West gathered from artists, event producers, great local venues and groups across the region.
This is a busy artistic region. There’s usually more than 2000 arts and heritage events happeing in the region each year. Of course, 2020 looks a little different but the events are slowly returning where possible.
NEW: HAPPENING ONLINE. We’ve added a new category for workshops, exhibitions, virutal tours and activities that are now happening ONLINE. Click here for the listings

Our City: BRAG town
Fri March 27 - Sun May 10free
27 March – 10 May 2020
Have you ever wanted to design your own town? What does your dream home or shop look like?
Join in the collaborative digital collage Our City: BRAG Town. Design your own home, park, shop or other parts of a town to form part of a digital city layout, projected in the BRAG: MAKESPACE and viewable on the BRAG website.
To submit your design, download a section of the town via the BRAG website and create your own design. For digital designs, you can use Paint, Photoshop or similar software to design your part of the town, save the file and upload via the link on the BRAG website. For hand-drawn designs, you can print out the city section then use your drawing pencils, textas or paint to create your designs. Scan or photograph your drawing and upload via the ‘Submit Design’ link below. Submissions may also be entered via the Instagram by tagging @bathurstregionalartgallery and using the hashtags #BRAGourcity #bragtown with your design.
Remember that other people will be designing their own sections of the town, so please be mindful of the size.
The BRAG team will assess each submission and determine if it is suitable for the location and the overall look of the town. Some buildings may be moved around during the timeframe of the project.
