Orange Regional Gallery Extension Project 2020: Gallery closes

Wed 1 April 2020, - Fri 6 November 2020,

Gallery closed for renovations

In August 2018, Orange Regional Gallery was granted $4,052,990 through the first round of the NSW Government’s Regional Cultural Fund to extend the Gallery. The extension, designed by Sydney firm Architect Marshall, will double the building’s exhibition and storage space, creating a new triangular-shaped wing between the current building and Peisley Street. Under the agreement, the Gallery will extend the existing facility by 1070sqm, incorporating a new gallery exhibition space, new storage and conservation areas and a lecture theatre. Construction will take place over the 2020 calendar year with the Gallery closed from April to November.

The Orange Regional Gallery Extension Project is proudly funded by the NSW Government.
