Welcome to our BIG list of arts and cultural events happening in the NSW Central West gathered from artists, event producers, great local venues and groups across the region.
This is a busy artistic region. There’s usually more than 2000 arts and heritage events happeing in the region each year. Of course, 2020 looks a little different but the events are slowly returning where possible.
NEW: HAPPENING ONLINE. We’ve added a new category for workshops, exhibitions, virutal tours and activities that are now happening ONLINE. Click here for the listings

Music in the Big Top
Mon October 12 at 10:30 am
After the success of our monthly Early Childhood Music workshops, we have found a way to bring these fun and informative events ONLINE. Just tune in!
This particular class is ideal for 3/4 year olds but younger children will still benefit. The workshop will be broadcast LIVE on the Mitchell Conservatorium Facebook page on Monday October 12th at 10.30am.
In this workshop, children will discover the building blocks of music with singing and rhythm patterns as they explore the sound of the circus from The Big Top! Children will have lots of fun in this 30 minute workshop while learning music with our qualified educator.
