Local approach: from crisis to recovery

Tue May 12 at 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

From the Australia Council for the Arts. developed for the Arts and creative industry: digital solution facebook group. Every week, industry experts, artists and digital adaptors will join the panel to discuss solutions and ideas that inform the industry.

This Tuesday 12 May, join us at 2:00pm Sydney time, when we’ll be taking a local approach to digital adaptation.

Our first panelllist for next week’s session is Johnathan Llewellyn.

Jonathan has been an arts administrator for more than 20 years with a focus on arts marketing. Having spent many of those years focussing on audiences in Western Sydney, in December last year he made the tree change to become the venue manager of Cowra Civic Centre in regional NSW.

Responding to the quote “You cannot discover new lands without consenting to lose sight of the shore for a long time.” (Andre Gide), Jonathan will discuss ideas for continuing to do what we do – but not how we always do it

Join Jonathan and other panellists as we start to make our next steps towards the future.

The Australia Council for the Arts acknowledges the traditional owners of country throughout Australia and pays its respect to their Elders past and present.
