Set against the backdrop of 19th century France, Les Miserables tells an enthralling story of broken dreams and unrequited love, passion, sacrifice and redemption. It’s a timeless testament to the survival of the human spirit. Featuring an amazing score with many songs you will recognise (I dreamed a dream, On my own, Stars, Bring him home, One day more and many more) this epic and uplifting story has become one of the most celebrated musicals in theatre history. Seen by more than 70 million people in 44 countries in 22 languages around the world, Les Miserables is still the worlds most popular musical.

Boasting an extremely talented cast of 44 (22 ladies and 22 men) including Aaron Kingham as Jean Valjean, Andrew Francis as Javert, Shev Brown as Fantine, Kimberley Ryan as Eponine, Rachael Westcott as Cosette, James Whalan as Marius, Keola Aho as Enjolras, Greg Ballantyne as Thenardier and Christa Radley as Madam, and a band of millions, this production will lift the bar for the Parkes Musical & Dramatic Society
