Welcome to our BIG list of arts and cultural events happening in the NSW Central West gathered from artists, event producers, great local venues and groups across the region.

This is a busy artistic region. There’s usually more than 2000 arts and heritage events happeing in the region each year. Of course, 2020 looks a little different but the events are slowly returning where possible.

Join a Q&A discussion between 2019 Archibald Prize finalist Blak Douglas and BRAG Director Sarah Gurich as they discuss painting, portraits and the prize.

Sydney-based Blak Douglas is a 2019 Archibald Prize finalist with his portrait of Aunty Esme Timbery. He was a finalist for the Archibald in 2015, 2018 & 2020 and was the first Aboriginal artist to win the Kilgour Prize in 2019.
