Beethoven’s 9th – Kiazma Piano Duo & Combined Choirs – Postponed (Covid-19)

Sat May 23 at 5:00 pm

Hear another side of a masterwork you love when KIAZMA Piano Duo performs Beethoven’s Symphony No.9, ‘Ode to Joy’, transcribed for two pianos by Franz Liszt. Irrepressibly dramatic, inspirational and uplifting, the Symphony is hailed among the greatest achievements in western music. Be surprised and delighted by this most famous of works as it is reborn through Liszt. Aura Go & Tomoe Kawabata have chosen to partner with the Orange Regional Conservatorium to present this exclusive concert, which will be the only performance outside of Melbourne and with a massed choir. Celebrating 250 years of Beethoven, this unique and exclusive performance is not to be missed.
