Author Talk – Cassandra Pybus

Fri September 18 at 6:00 pm

Bathurst’s Jenny Barry sits down in virtual conversation with author and distinguished historian Cassandra Pybus to discuss her new book ‘Truganini’ which details the life of this highly significant figure in Australian history.

“Australians should know how Truganini lived, not just that she died. My task as a biographer was to reveal the lively, intelligent, sensual young woman who managed to negotiate the apocalyptic change that overwhelmed her people to survive on her own terms into a dignified old age.” – Cassandra Pybus
